Owo Anglican Diocese Synod 2019
OWO DIOCESAN SYNOD 2019; CLARION CALL FOR SUPPORT
Dear Sir/Ma,
Esteemed and season greetings to you in the name of our Creator, who has graciously spared you and us to witness yet another year, 2019. May your joy know no bound in Jesus name.
This is to humbly inform you that we shall be hosting the annual synod of Owo Anglican Diocese come 24th - 28th July, 2019 at St. Patrick's Anglican Church Ijebu, Owo. We considered it a great joy and honour to step into the shoes of the likes of Sen. Dr. Bode Olajumoke, Engr. Funso Kupolokun, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, Dipo Okpeseyi SAN, among others, who have hosted the synod in the past. This we are joyfully doing to mark our 40th birthday.
The programme of event outline is as follows:
July 24: Youth Summit for 120 youth delegates accross the Diocese (Uso, Emure, Owo, Ifon, Okeluse, Ipele, Iyere, Upenmen, Isuada, Imoru, Ikaro axis)
July 25: Synod Opening Service for synod delegates and guests
July 26: Official opening ceremony and Diocesan endowment & youth empowerment launching
July 27: Synod Meetings and Committee Reports
July 28: Thanksgiving service
To this end, we have donated a Kia Sedona Space Bus to the youth body in the Diocese and planning to have a good number of the youth empowered. In addition, we are trusting God to use us and well-meaning individuals like you to raise N200M to endow the Diocese for developmental projects and youth empowerment.
Consequently, you have been humbly considered among God-blessed personalities and our well-wishers who can support us with your God-given substance. We are not unaware of the financial demands placed on you every now and then, nevertheless, we trust God as we prayerfully contact you that your generous donation in support of this Twins' divine project will not go unrewarded.
